San Ferdiando’s estate sperads over more than 60 hectares in the heart of Tuscany, in the wonderful area of Val di Chiana where the tradition of oil and wine production rooted from centuries. The Grifoni’s family, inspired by the passion and by the respect for this land, purchased in 1998 the whole farm. The vineyards planted, all of which are located at altitude of 300 mt, occupy a total area of 9 hectares. A modern wine cellar for vinification was inaugurated in 2009 with the first vintage of Sangiovese e Ciliegiolo. The barrique cellar, used for wine aging, is composed by French oak cask and oak barrel.
